My Project
I work with the entire K-8 school and would love to have a set of Gelli printing plates for my students. Gelli plates have many uses, but focus on the printmaking art form and I want to give students the opportunity to make art like real working artists. They are easy to use and easy to clean which saves us time to make art. Currently, I use disposable forms of printmaking, like styrofoam plates, but I'd like to move away from something that can end of in the landfill and have something that is reusable instead.
It will also save money in the long run for the art budget so materials won't have to be repurchased every year.
