it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This fall, I’ll be teaching AP Biology for the first time — and I couldn’t be more excited! I have an incredible group of aspiring scientists ready to dive into this rigorous and rewarding course.
AP Biology is packed with labs that bring science to life, helping students connect what they learn in class to real-world biological processes.
But to make these labs truly meaningful, we need the right tools.
One essential piece of equipment — a gel electrophoresis machine — will open the door to multiple labs across the AP Biology curriculum, from DNA analysis to genetic engineering. It’s a versatile and foundational tool that will empower students to explore molecular biology hands-on, just like real scientists.
