it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a school that is committed to providing an educational foundation that prepares each one to be a productive, socially responsible citizen and a lifelong learner. The close-knit community of families and the school’s highly educated faculty work collaboratively to provide an environment that fosters each child’s development and success.
What I love about my students is their hunger to learn about how things work.
I'm really excited to see how fast they learn from their successes and failures.
My Project
Percussion instruments are used almost daily in our music class. Some of the instruments are used in stations, and even during performances. Not having enough working shakers can cause major distractions when students are required to wait patiently for an extended period of time while they wait their turn.
As we get closer to the end of the year, we are trying to incorporate quieter instrument during stations. Adding new drum pads will aid in preserving our ear drums, while still rocking out.
I am excited to see how far my students will be able to go in their music abilities, and even more excited to see more students benefiting from music education at our school. Thank you for any and all support.
