Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students do their best to bring in supplies at the beginning of the year to help our class stay prepared to learn. That being said there are always lots of gaps to fill in and I never want a family to feel pressured to contribute when they cannot afford to do so.

I believe that each child should have whatever supplies they need for the day provided to them, no questions asked.

To put this belief into practice I need to be able to provide supplies to my students if they do not have their own. Restocking our supply cabinet with pre-sharpened pencils, tissues, and Lysol wipes will mean that each student can get whatever they need for the day without feeling shame about not having something. Your support will allow us to start our school year off in a strong and organized fashion!
