Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The “Gear Up for Learning” project is dedicated to collecting a wide range of classroom items to help teachers create an engaging and supportive learning environment for all students. We welcome donations of essentials like notebooks, markers, glue sticks, rulers, and art supplies, as well as newer items such as headphones, scissors, and a cozy carpet for a calm-down corner. These headphones help students focus during independent work, scissors support creative projects, and the calm-down corner carpet provides a peaceful space for students to regroup and manage their emotions. Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful impact by ensuring classrooms are fully equipped to inspire creativity, focus, and emotional well-being.
