it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Headphones are vital for our students to engage with online learning activities, audio books, and individualized instruction without distractions. Having access to their own set of headphones will help each child focus on their tasks, especially during small group sessions or digital learning time, which is an important part of our curriculum.
Expo markers are another key tool that will allow students to express their ideas and demonstrate their learning in a hands-on way.
In first grade, we rely heavily on dry erase boards for interactive lessons, practice, and quick assessments. Markers will give students the chance to work independently, collaborate with peers, and receive immediate feedback on their progress.
With these donations, my goal is to create a more effective and inclusive learning environment for all my students. By providing them with the tools they need, we can maximize their ability to stay focused, actively participate in lessons, and develop essential skills. These items will directly support their academic growth and help them feel empowered in their learning journey.
Each of my students brings their own unique talents, curiosity, and enthusiasm to the classroom. They are a diverse group of young learners, eager to explore, create, and grow. Many of them thrive when given hands-on opportunities to engage with the material, and having the right tools will allow them to do so to the best of their ability. I am constantly inspired by their resilience, creativity, and passion for learning, and I want to give them every opportunity to succeed.
