Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to try something new every day. They show up ready to learn, grow, and support one another—both in the classroom and on the field. For many of them, physical activity is more than just play; it’s a way to build confidence, relieve stress, and develop teamwork skills that will last a lifetime.
The sports equipment I’m requesting will give my students the opportunity to participate fully in physical education and recess.
With the right gear—balls, cones, jump ropes, and more—they’ll be able to stay active, learn new skills, and enjoy healthy competition. These resources will also help us create a more inclusive and engaging environment where every child has a chance to thrive, no matter their background or ability level.
