This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The upcoming school year is almost upon us and having a welcoming classroom is what ALL children deserve. I love having a joyful and colorful learning environment for my students.

Having a blue fadeless bulleting board, decorated with our class expectations and classroom jobs will ensure that the students are focused as well as calm and feel relaxed while taking notes in their academic composition notebooks.

The welcome sign will remind the kiddos, each day, that they are part of a learning community that welcomes ALL children no matter the background, ethnicity, or learning ability. They would love to see their names posted around the sign as well as the different careers they could have and world of knowledge (VAPA, Literacy, Math, STEAM, & Social Studies) they will be emersed in.

During these uncertain times, for many students and their families, I want to ensure that my future 4th graders (at Freese Elementary) know they will always have the proper learning tools to make their academic year a wonderful and stress free experience. Help me give the kiddos the best!!
