This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Most of my student come from disadvantaged homes and lower income neighborhoods. My students may not have may things to look forward to especially during this time of the pandemic. As a former athlete myself, I know how much looking forward to a game, a practice and being part of a team can mean. I want to be able to offer as much as I can for my students.
My Project
Hello,
As we all know, it is blazing hot outside.
This Texas heat does not let up. I want my students to be properly hydrated during the upcoming volleyball, basketball, track and soccer season. If they are properly hydrated they will have a better performance. Some of my students don't have the time or proper resources to bring water or any other drinks to school. It would mean a lot to be able to supply something to keep them hydrated. Hydration is important. Anything helps! Thank You.
