This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Being a special education teacher I face main challenges. One major challenge is keeping the lessons engaging while having very minimal supplies.
With this project, students will have more engaging and hand-on lessons for earth science.
The materials will help provide a visual component to the lesson that is vital to understanding the subject.
Earth Science is a very dense subject covering 3 major science topics (astronomy, geology, and meteorology) It is good to have hands-on and visual materials that will help students have a clearer understanding of a topic compared to not having those materials.
