My Project

My classroom has all cement floors and as a reading teacher this is not ideal. I like students to be able to get out of their seat and get comfortable as they work.

This rug will give them a spot to sit other than the cement floor.

I believe all students learn best in different way. Where and how they sit plays a role in this. I like to give them freedom on where they sit and this will further add to the options they have on where they learn. When students have some choice as to where they can work, they tend to be more focused and engaged in completing their work.
