My Project

In our kindergarten classroom, the rug is where so much learning comes to life. It’s where we gather for morning meetings, share our ideas, and dive into story time. A cozy, colorful rug gives my students a defined space to sit comfortably, focus, and engage with lessons. It helps reduce distractions and supports routines that build independence and confidence.

My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where students feel safe, connected, and ready to learn.

This rug will be a central hub for collaboration, listening, and community building—skills that are just as important as ABCs and 123s.

My kindergarten students are curious, energetic, and full of wonder. For many, this is their very first classroom, and I want it to feel like a second home. They deserve a space that reflects their joy and supports their growth. With your help, we can make our classroom a place where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired.
