Gather Around the Math Table

Help me give my students a new horseshoe shaped reading table! Our class size requires effective instruction to be delivered in small group settings. Our current classroom reading table makes it challenging to work closely with each student.

My Students

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and academic abilities. They are hardworking and love to learn using technology and manipulatives. Because of the disruption of their kindergarten and first grade years, they are behind in Math and Reading.

My second graders have a love of reading and math and learn best with a hands-on approach.

My Project

By donating to this project, you will help students utilize more educational tools that will help them grow as a learner. Math manipulatives are proven to help a learner understand concepts through a hands-on approach. Having a solid foundation of number sense will lead to a greater understanding of deeper concepts in the future.

During math instruction, I will be able to closely guide and facilitate each student's learning and redirect when necessary.

This horseshoe shaped table will also allow students to interact with me and the other students in a small group setting during math.
