My Project

My students love to garden. It would be great to increase gardening spaces where students can access more garden beds.

The act of gardening can be calming and conducive to open communication.

It can foster a sense of community as students work together towards a common goal by taking care of their garden space.

Our students would benefit from a bucket-filling story. It's a story of kindness and empathy. This looks like a fun resource to teach our students about filling other's buckets. Gardening and Bucket-filling stories are a BIG part of Social Emotional Learning.

They can work together to maintain the garden, demonstrating cooperation and teamwork, which are key components of bucket filling. Let's increase bucket-filling opportunities!
