This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students the supplies they need to engage with their outdoor learning spaces during garden education, nutrition education and collaborative recreational activities.

My students love their outdoor garden spaces and when given the right tools to learn and explore- they thrive academically and socially.

Our classes need gloves for projects like farming, garden design, composting, planting seeds & seedlings for plant sales and more! Students are in need of basic necessities like hand soap and paper towels- so important when harvesting crops for taste tests and general project clean up.

We are fortunate to have an abundance of garden and nutrition education curriculum available but need paper in order to provide students access to the material in our outdoor settings. With hard work together in the garden comes relaxation and recreational time to unwind- please help me give my students collaborative games to play outdoors like Tic Tac Toss and Connect 4!
