Garden of Hope: Elementary Garden Project

Help me give my students a Little Free Library Kit, raised garden beds, an egg incubator, and other items that will give our garden space a little more "oomph!"

My Project

This elementary school project aims to create an inclusive outdoor learning environment centered around a school garden and weather station.

The raised handicap accessible garden beds will provide students with hands-on experience in different growing mediums, complemented by a compost/worm bin for fertilization.

The installation of a weather station will enhance science lessons and potentially benefit the broader community. A rock garden will promote social-emotional learning by spreading joy and inspiring kindness while a pollinator garden and bee hotel will support biodiversity and environmental education.

This project seeks to engage students in life sciences and plant stewardship, serving all students throughout the year.
