This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We plan to use this garden space to increase what we can grow, harvest and use in our school cafe. We plan to develop a garden that grows fruits and vegetables that allow us to have the supplies needed to create culturally important dishes.

Garden Green for All is a project that increases access for all students and helps to develop life long positive eating habits.

Working with students to increase access to fresh organic produce is very important to me and my students. We have worked hard each year to raise funding to expand our garden.
