My Students

My students are from two different schools. The first group is in a Title I school, which means most of the students receive a free lunch, and my other group of students is part of a magnet program of Montessori. Both groups are completely different, but have one big thing in common: they love to work hard!

My students are tested in second grade to see if they qualify to take the gifted class that I teach.

My classroom is titled SAIL. This stands for Students Actively Involved in Learning!

My Project

My students have had a garden for over a year. Our beds are starting to rot and we need a more sustainable wall to make our beds out of. The garden that we have now seems to be a bit "junky" because the hose is all over the ground and the beds are rotting. Please donate to our garden and make it look beautiful again. We are currently growing beans, radish, onions, carrots, broccoli, and sugar snap peas. Next month our kale will arrive. We hope to have our garden gear ready and put together before next spring arrives. Thanks!
