Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year our inaugural garden club known as Garden Bugs has begun creating a school and community garden on our elementary campus. We hope to cultivate free food for the community as we learn about horticulture and have fun together!

Please donate to our project so that we can continue to expand our garden and achieve our goal of creating a beautiful space and cultivating food for all!

My students will use the materials in this project to create irrigation systems, create vegetable trellises, and other hands on garden projects. Other supplies like gloves will help ensure our physical safety and and the shed will help us securely store tools.
