Garden and Cardio

Help me give my students some much needed cardio equpiment and a composter that we will use in our garden

My Project

Every year my class learns about how plants grow. Last year we were able to build two raised plant beds and grow a variety of vegetables and herbs. This year we plan on doing the same, however we want to include composteing to out gardening project. Here in California new laws have been passed that strongly encourage composting organic materials. What better way to teach students the importance of taking care of our planet, grow delicous vegetables/fruits, and the importance of fulfilling our civic duties than to compost.

In addition, my class is comprosed of student with differeing mobilities, including some that use wheelchairs and walkers to move about.

The mini stepper will add to our, already vigorous activity options, a cardio component for those students that need to remain seated during physical activities.
