My Project

The Game Room is designed as a positive reinforcement tool to help improve student attendance, increase learning gains, motivate students to complete their work promptly and demonstrate positive behavior. As an educator in a behavior modification, low-income/high-poverty school district, my students face challenges both in and out of the classroom. Giving them a game room will be another positive reinforcement for them to come to school daily. It will allow them to work together and increase socialization skills.

This new game room will be an excellent way to help students get excited about meeting their educational and behavioral goals.

At our school, we want to be able to reward students for their hard work instantly, and we are creating a "game room" to provide this opportunity. By having an exciting and fun place, students will be more motivated to work and reap the rewards of their perseverance in reading and math! We believe that by having this room ready to go, we can motivate students to work hard so that they can go into the "game room" and have fun! We can also add random reinforcement to students' day and help them find the joy in working hard!
