Gaming Gets Our Day Off to a Great Start

Help me give my students a tabletop retro arcade cabinet to go along with our Raspberry Pi.

My Project

Each day my students start their day with a "Soft Start" morning. For soft start, my students are able to come into the classroom, as soon as they arrive on campus. Once they arrive, they are welcomed into our classroom to socialize with their classmates until the bell rings. Currently, the students have 8 bins of activities they can choose from. The students can play games, cards, put puzzles together, draw or complete brain teasers.

What better way to start our day than gaming with classic games from the past.

I am requesting a countercade video game console that works with our Raspberry Pi to add to our soft start options. Nowadays children love video games above everything else. So, I thought that it would be a great way to build relationships with their peers by playing a classic video game from the past.
