"So please, oh please, we beg, we pray, go throw your TV set away, and in its place you can install a lovely bookshelf on the wall." – Roald Dahl
This quote relates to the students in my classroom who have found a love for reading!
The twenty-two students in my class all have their own unique personalities and interests, giving them a wide range of genres that they enjoy reading.
They are always lively and ready to learn and engage in lessons. When you walk into the class, you are greeted with smiles, chatter, and happiness. They enjoy learning through their reading and being able to share their ideas and imagination with their classmates.
My Project
Our kindergarten classroom is in need of some literacy games that will help us reinforce our literacy skills that we are learning. My students learn in different ways and hands on activities can help them to be successful with literacy. Having games that involve their sensory skills focuses their attention on the task.
Literacy games bring literacy skills to life in a fun, engaging way.
My students enjoy friendly competition in the classroom and will enjoy it, even more, when it involves their abilities to read. My students found a passion for reading and I want to continue to spark their interest in literacy fun.
