This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in this donation will be utilized by students daily. I am extremely excited about these resources because they will allow students to learn strategy, team work, and SEL skills. Playing games exposes children to learning how to be a humble winner and also resilient and empathetic when a game was lost. Many students haven’t had the experience of playing board/card games and these resources will give them the opportunity to. The resources will absolutely be the highlight of indoor recess, technology free choice time, and the place for friendships to form. The students were struck with joy when our last project got donated, so they can’t wait to see what other fun things may be apart of our classroom soon. Thank you!
