My Project

I am looking for ways to get my students off of their phones during their lunch period. They spend so much time looking at computers, tablets, and other screens during their academic classes and therefore are looking for a different type of tactile entertainment during lunch.

I am looking to get a combination of chess sets and board games for my students to use during their lunch periods.

We currently have only one chess board in our classroom, and therefore it is a race for my students to get to the classroom first to claim the board. I have absolutely no doubt that if we had more chess sets and board games available, my students would continue to use these resources to strengthen their skills and strengthen the classroom community.
