My Students

My students are Kindergarten and second-grade students in a high-needs school district. They are excited about school and learning! Unfortunately, school budgets do not always make it possible for me to provide the materials and experiences to let my students soar.

Help me make this their best year ever!

My Project

Students who are behind in learning their language skills sometimes become disconnected in the classroom. Reading and writing can be a challenge, so they just don't try. The materials we receive from this project will help me reach my special education students and get them engaged in learning.

When a child has special learning needs, it is important to keep learning fun and interesting.

These games will be used in small group learning to help my students learn important skills to become readers and writers.

My kindergartners will polish their letter and sound recognition, while my second graders will get those sight words and CVC words on track! Both of these skills help to build a foundation for successful readers.
