This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is a time for kids to develop social skills that they will continue to use throughout their lives. As part of our school week, we provide students with the center time that helps them to develop these skills.

My students have been especially interested in Chutes and Ladders, and other board games and classic and other card games recently and I would love to add some variety to my classroom selection.

These types of games help to especially strengthen turn taking skills in a fun way. I love seeing my students engaging with these types of games and hope that these new additions will get them even more excited!
