My Project
With these games and activities, speech and language therapy can be fun and engaging. Many of my students leave their classroom 1-3 times a week for specially designed instruction to target their communication skills. These targeted skills include social skills (e.g., working collaboratively with other students), stuttering, vocabulary, following directions, and saying their speech sounds (e.g., R, S) correctly to name a few.
Games help the students target their speech therapy goals in a more exciting and engaging way!
It fills my heart with joy when my students look forward to their weekly speech sessions.
