This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students are unique and that none are the same. Some of my students have learning disabilities and Autism. My students need access and opportunities to engage in other areas that will help improve their mental health. I am creating this project to help my students have access to playing games such as Chess, UNO, and Jenga that will help them to communicate with each other without the use of a device or the internet. In this generation, we have children who do not know what it is like to play without a device. These items will enable them to play board games. They will improve their problem-solving skills and peer relations skills. They will also help my students have access to class gains to help their mental health.
