My Students

My class is an awesome mix of personalities and preferences. They work hard and, although facing many challenges at home, choose to work hard and be successful at school. We are a Title I school, with most of our students receiving free/reduced-price lunch. My class serves ESL students as well as gifted students and special learners.

My students may not have a welcome environment every day when they go home, but I want them to have a warm place to come every day at school.

I want them to have a love of learning and see that learning can be fun!

My Project

We have recess every day in our district. My students enjoy going outside, but with the rainy days, we have to have a lot of recess inside.

A lot of my students do not have appropriate outer wear to wear outside in the cold weather, so we need options to play inside.

These games will provide opportunity for teamwork, learning to play together, and things to do during indoor recess. Please help my students have options!

Playing card games, manipulating the pieces of board games, and building their knowledge of words. This will build their ability to play together, work together, and show their creative sides.
