Help me give my students a variety of games and meditation tools to help keep their minds focused and alert during the school day.

My Students

I am the school librarian for a campus of three high schools in Brooklyn. For a decade, our campus had no library or librarian, and the space was left to fester. Now, I have been brought in to bring the space back to life since our renovation is done.

Our students are bright, hard-working, and in need of engaging material.

This project is for games and socio-emotional meditation tools.

My Project

This project is in response to students' needs for more sensory engagement and cognitive activities during their time in the library. While reading is a valuable part of the library experience, the library is also a place where students should be able to engage in other activities that allow them to express various types of learning.

These games and tools will allow students to tap into further learning.

They will be able to collaborate and engage in activities that break up the stress of the school day. This project is all about tapping into student needs!
