Games and Incentives to Practice Your Skills

Help me give my students fresh incentives to continue working hard on goals for behavior and academic completion in the Special Education Classroom. Help them have new and creative ways to participate in games that will help them.

My Project

Students set IEP goals that they work on and try to master with daily practice. They are required to work on skills that are very hard for them to master. When students are able to achieve the goals and in small steps towards mastery we celebrate by letting them play games that will practice the skills. Letting them participate in a fun way helps them to use the skills and shows them that reading and math can be useful. They are also able to use the skills in a social setting and use them with peers.

Using games is engaging and worthwhile for the students.

Please help my students to stay motivated as they work hard to achieve the success they are striving for. My students also need small incentives as they work to motivate them towards success. The small tokens motivate them to work harder and to keep working.
