This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Since March 12, 2020 My students have been home and learning through distant learning. They are using Microsoft teams to communicate with staff and resource officials. Some students do not have WIFI ir computers, desktops, or technology at home; so they have to use work sheets and packets that are printed out and mailed home.

They do not have any materials at home and as teachers we have very limited materials to send home.

Resources are limited.

My Project

Our students are smart, creative, and hardworking individuals. Our students are very special to us and deserve the best. They are superstars and excel every day with smiles on their faces.

Science and Art are very important subjects in schools but are both under-studied in our school.

We lack the materials needed to have successful and meaningful art classes properly supplied.

Our students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

All of our students love learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and we are lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
