Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need to have fun at school. Yes we have to teach curriculum and get work done for sure, but there are times when you can do some fun things like play games and get to chat with your students, and let the students chat with each other. Making connections with students is key for a successful school year.
Getting to chat with students about their interests in a different setting will give you the opportunity to learn new things about the students.
Playing games and laughing with your students is a great way to enjoy each other and learn more about them and what drives them.
Teachers have to be creative on how to reach every student and this is a good way to spend quality time with each of them.
Not only will we have opportunities to have fun with friends and the teachers, but the students can learn how to play games at school and then can go home and teach their families. They might even inspire a family game night!
