From time to time, due to our questionable Ohio weather, my students spend recess in our classroom. These educational games would be a great addition to our activities for indoor recess and free time.
This school year, I have had the pleasure of working with and teaching 25 very eager second-grade students.
Most of the students had never been a part of a class with more than 12 students. Due to cuts in the district budget, all of the students were put together in my classroom and I couldn't imagine not being the teacher of a single one of them!
My Project
Due to our larger class size, space is limited and large group activities can be more difficult to orchestrate. I am requesting five new games that can be used in our classroom by small groups of students. Some of the games work like a memory card game. Others have a grab bag or grab bucket which offers a small thrill in choosing a card or tile. All of the games are sure to be a hit!
Even in our down time we love to learn and practice what we are learning.
