Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and hungry for more knowledge and I would love for them to have more opportunities to engage in making decisions. Many of them do not own a board game as online world took over. With video games being a priority, students don’t use board games as a way to bond with families.

Board games are excellent at helping sharpen strategy and social skills.

In some games, students are able to ponder different possibilities. In other games, students are able to enhance their problem-solving skills. As a teacher, my goal is to allow my students to earn a “game day." I hope that they will enjoy these games enough to get them at home.
