This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with a great group of learners which include TK through fifth grade students. A large percentage of our students are eligible for free or reduced price lunch and are English Language Learners.
My students will earn Lunch Bunch on Fridays.
They will earn points throughout the week for completing their English Language Arts and math work along with other goals they are working on. If they earn enough points, then they can go to the Fun Room to play games. We would like to add this convertible game table that is equipped with 10 different games to ensure tons of fun. My students can choose from billiards, Foosball, push hockey, table tennis, chess, checkers, backgammon, bowling, shuffleboard, or card games. The indoor basketball arcade has a durable steel frame with dual shot steel rims for two-players. My students can challenge their friends to 8 different basketball games and best of all scoring is tracked and displayed on a scoreboard.
