Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students love coming to the library, especially at lunch time. It is wonderful to see students using their free time away from the computer. One of their favorite activities is playing games. I want to encourage their love for games and this project will not only help expand my current game collection but keep the games area organized.
Playing board games will help students develop their social skills and sportsmanship.
Our students love to play and they become more social when faced with a fun activity. In providing opportunities to play challenging games, students can also build peer relationships. It is great to witness students find a common ground and build new friendships.
