My Project
Keeping students mentally engaged is important while learning in class. However, it is just as important to keep students engaged during unstructured times as well.
We have found that by playing board games and cards with our students during lunch helps to develop many positive social and emotional bonds between students and staff.
These bonds that form also have positive benefits for the students in the classroom environments as well. The students have connected to the teacher/staff on a different level other then just a person teaching a class, and gains a deeper relationship with the teacher.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
