it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Being in an alternative school, many of my students face challenges that go beyond academics—they're working on emotional regulation, social interaction, and building confidence in a supportive environment. Educational board and card games are a powerful tool in helping them grow in these areas. These games offer structured, hands-on learning opportunities that feel fun and rewarding. They help my SPED, autistic, and behaviorally struggling students practice turn-taking, following directions, critical thinking, and cooperation—all essential life skills. In a setting where traditional methods don’t always work, these games create moments of success, connection, and joy that reinforce positive behavior and learning.
