My Project
Economics and Financial Literacy is a new required class in my area; and a much needed one. They all have limited experiences with the terms and concepts that we are learning about. I want to be able to provide my students with a variety of different ways that they can learn and better understand and it not be a "sit and get" style.
Board games are a great way for students to learn and apply concepts and terms they have been studying.
Board games also will allow time for students to be away from technology and work on communication and other social skills.
With games in the classroom, we will be able to use them weekly to reinforce what is being taught in a way that is not traditional.
