My Project

Project Overview:

The gaming mice, keyboards, and controllers we’re requesting will significantly enhance our students' learning by giving them hands-on access to professional-grade equipment used in esports and game development.

These tools will allow students to experience the precision and responsiveness required in competitive gaming, helping them better understand how hardware impacts gameplay and performance. With this equipment, they will also explore game design, programming, and development more effectively, seeing firsthand how technology and creativity come together in the gaming industry.

Goals for the Project:

Develop Esports Skills: Enable students to participate in organized esports competitions while improving their teamwork, critical thinking, and strategic abilities with the right equipment.

Introduce Game Design: Teach the basics of game design, coding, and programming using industry tools, helping students develop creativity and technical skills.

Prepare for Future Careers: Expose students to career pathways in gaming, development, and tech industries, building valuable skills for their future.

Our students at Newmark High School are resilient, creative, and thrive with hands-on, interactive learning. Many have faced challenges in traditional education settings, but when provided with opportunities that align with their passions, they excel. This project will empower them to explore their interests in esports and game development while gaining confidence and real-world skills in a supportive environment.
