My Project

This school year, my county does not allow middle schoolers to use their cell phones as soon as they step foot within the building. Not only has this resulted in students checking out more books, but it has increased the number of students coming to the library to build friendships over board games. New this year, we have giant board games (which a generous donor provided) and those have been very popular. However, students have requested many smaller games.

All the games in this grant have been requested by my students.

If funded, these games will not only be used in the library before and after school but will be used by the PBIS committee during prize days where students can play board games together. Thank you for helping my students see the card and board games they want to play in the library!
