My Project

In today’s classrooms, one of the keys to fostering a love for reading is ensuring that students have access to books that ignite their passions. This project aims to build a diverse and exciting classroom library centered around sports-themed books that resonate with middle schoolers’ interests.

From the thrill of a last-minute touchdown to the triumph of overcoming personal challenges, sports stories offer young readers lessons in perseverance, teamwork, and resilience.

By adding a variety of books across different sports—basketball, soccer, football, baseball, and more—I want to provide students with stories that speak directly to their lives and experiences, helping them connect with reading in a meaningful way.

This set of books will serve as a resource to encourage not just reading for fun, but also to promote important life lessons.
