My Project
Do you remember when you were a child and the games you played with your family? This is a disappearing pastime, and a sad one at that. Since the invention of video games, society has slowly become reliant on them to occupy their children. This year, I'd like to re-introduce families to these precious memories.
Children benefit in innumerable ways from playing these old-fashioned favorites like Uno and Yahtzee!
We are seeing less and less number sense and vocabulary exposure than ever before. Game nights are a key factor in adopting these skills.
Worksheets have always been the go-to for teachers when trying to keep their classes quiet and busy. But busy work doesn't teach anyone anything. Help me provide students with these great alternatives to busy work.
These games often lend themselves to differentiation by offering different versions in the instructions. When 70% of your class is below grade level, that remaining 30% needs, but rarely receives stimulation and challenging activities.
This group of games offers vitalizing play for 1 to 30 players. This could really be a game-changer for our students. We are missing out on this golden opportunity to enhance education exponentially.
