This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Unfortunately because of the school and budget cuts, the girls' basketball program is not able to receive the proper equipment for practice and games. Being able to use these basketballs for practice and for games will allow every player on the team to have an adequate basketball to use at practice. That way when game times come, they are familiar with the basketball and are able to perform at their peak. This will level the playing field for the program, and they do not have to worry about something that is out of their control.
