My Project
I am looking to get some games for my class. I have noticed many of my students struggle with reasoning, which is an imperative skill in a math classroom. I would like to add these games to my class to be used on occasion as students earn a reward.
It is important to give students a chance to practice their reasoning skills and games are a great way to make it fun. Story problems and working through math worksheets can help students, but when they are able to explain their reasoning or feel the success of scoring points or winning a game, I think it is more motivating and fun to increase those critical thinking skills.
