My students belong to a Title I school that provides a French Dual Language Immersion Program. We are the first and only school in our district and the only public school in the state of Texas to offer this program. Our students come from all over the world. Their interests and abilities are as diverse as their backgrounds.
Our global school community celebrates differences, uncovers commonalities, and provides new meaningful experiences in its day to day activities.
We create an environment of tolerance, understanding, and high expectations. Our students and their families choose our school because we provide a space where we can grow and learn and compete in a global marketplace.
My Project
Gymnastics is an essential part of any physical education program. The skills learned through gymnastics are an integral component to any child’s physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development.
We need folding mats and balance beams to improve our body control, confidence, and self-discipline.
We will tumble, balance, jump, and land while we improve our strength, flexibility, and balance.
The skills we learn on the mat and beam will transfer through all aspects of our current lives and continue into our futures. Gymnastics will help us well into our future, whether we aspire to be professional athletes or whether we hope to aspire others to become professionals.
