Gaiam Kids Stay-N-Play Balance Ball!

My students need Gaiam Kids Stay-N-Play Balance Balls to help them stay fit during Gym and in the classroom in order to help promote wellness and sportsmanship.

My Students

My students are faced with many challenges, but, despite those challenges, they come into class excited and ready to learn! They love to read and be read to. I always focus on their potential and eagerness to learn and take advantage of that in order to push them as much as possible. I may not be able to control their challenges outside of school, but I sure can be positive and creative in the classroom as well as provide an inviting and welcoming environment in the classroom.

My Project

My students enjoy recess and physical education. They love playing with balls and jump ropes during recess and P.E. One day, my students came up to me and asked if they could have new "stuff" to sit on because they were getting tired of sitting on the gym floor. This inspired me and my students to come up with a list of new equipment that they would like to have. My students came up with a long list of items but we ultimately decided that a Gaiam Kids Stay-N-Play Balance Ball would be the best for us.

My students love recess and physical education so much that they can't stop asking about it, which inspired us to request Gaiam Kids Stay-N-Play Balance Balls.

My students will use the requested materials to help encourage cooperative, non-competitive play and reinforce taking turns and sharing. These items will also help increase physical health and promotes social interaction during recess and physical education.
