Gaga For GaGa Ball!

My Project

The beautiful spring weather is on its way. With it we get to leave the house and enjoy the great outdoors again. No one appreciates this more that active middles school students cooped up for months. They are anxious to get outside and play!

Physical activity improves brain health in many ways.

With this in mind I would like to harvest the energy of my students and begin a GaGa ball club. We will meet after school to learn the rules and strategies of the game. This will promote healthy students, both physically and mentally. We learn the value of teamwork and problem solving. Release those feel good chemicals we've depleted with the intensity of the day. We will also be increasing the number of cells in the hippocampus, which is important for learning and memory. Don't forget to refuel with a snack along the way.
